This DVD is just amazing. This DVD contains the xmas special of Doctor Who 2006 and other bonus features. This episode which shows the first sighns of Donna Noble is amazing. The plot behind the episode is very well thought out and the racnoss is very well shown during the episode. The special effects are amazing, the plot is amazing and the idea is amazing. Catherine Tate as Donna is just brilliant. Donna ends up on The Tardis on her wedding day but The Doctor has to find out why and how she got there and kill The Racnoss. The Music and Monster is just great to. So over all this is a fantastic DVD.

 Pockets in a wedding dress.

Mr David Tennant is once again greatly playing the part of mysterious Doctor who. Fabulously funny this will have you cracking up the whole way through beggining - end. Catherine Tate plays Donna Noble (who will also play Doctor new assistant in Series 4) who suddenly appears in the Tardis itself while still in flight. Bamboozled by this the Doctor investigates and finds that Donna is a key. A key to bring a monsterous race back into existance. A must see episode with truely amazing effects.

 A brilliant episode!

The Runaway Bride, the Doctor Who 2006 Christmas special, was definitely one of the highlights of 2006's turn of the annual tradition of 'Xmas Telly'.

The story is a rough and bumpy ride from start to finish for an average woman called Donna Noble (played with hilarious ease by Catherine Tate), who gets teleported into the TARDIS whilst walking down the aisle of her own wedding and finds out that she is a key to unlocking an ancient spider race, the Racnoss, that has laid dormant in the centre of the Earth since its creation. Her only hope is with a mysterious stranger called the Doctor (again played by the brilliant David Tennant), who has recently taken a darker turn since losing the most precious thing in his lonely life; his dear friend, Rose.

With plenty of action, suspense, drama and comedy (notably the chase on the motorway: "You've got to jump!" "I'm in my wedding dress!" "Yes! You look lovely, come on!") This episode was a brilliant story featuring many examples of wit and references to current topics; (weddings, X-Factor, Torchwood and even Mr Saxon) a common feature in the work of the brilliant writer, Russell T Davies, and also works effectively to fill the gap between the end of Rose Tyler's story and the beginning of Martha Jones journey in time and space.
