How I Met Your Mother: Season 1 (3 Discs)

Remember when Friends use to be funny around the middle seasons of its run well How I Met You Mother starts at that level and proves US comedys haven't lost their edge.

The pilot which is normally just the 'lets intruduce the characters show' actually proves pilots can be really funny and the show gets better and better as it goes along and is one of the very few US shows along with The Big Bang Theory that I will genuinely laugh out loud at.

And if Barney doesnt make you laugh at least twice every episode you'd better check your pulse.

Even if you have never heard of this show buy it on faith, watch it and then be baffled how the show this good is not massive over here and how it took you 4 years to find out about it.

I guaratee before you have made it half way through this series you will be already online purchasing season 2 to have it ready to watch once you finish this season.

Legendary tv series... best tv show ever.....Barney is the definition of awesome!

This show is by far the best comedy around at the moment, and the scripting of how they film the lovestory in reverse and go back to scenes previously that explian other scenes is just like Barney says 'LEGENDARY' !!! The humour is classical, and has only ever been seen in things like Friends. So if your a friends fan, try this, it does exactly what it says on the tin!!!!!

This show in my opinion leaves friends trailing behind. i know a lot of people will disagree but i feel how i met your mother has taken the best thing about friends, the ability to make you laugh and cry in the same episode, and just beat them at it. the cast is a delight to watch and the writers really drag you into the story. Neil Patrick Harris is brilliant, dynamic and incredibly funny, but he does not shadow the rest of the group, that is what i love about this show, there is not a weak link. Yeah i know, im a HIMYM geek XD

It is without a doubt the best tv show ever
