Paniponi Dash: Volume 1 - Lethal Lesson

Utterly surreal & mad with a whole dosage of comedy elements added. Sounds familiar doesn't it?
That's the major problem, all it's elements come from other series most notably Azumanga Daioh.
Other elements you may have spotted from series like Abenobashi, Excel Saga, Fooly Cooly & Negima.
Surreal series are fine and all but you need to think carefully about your punch lines and trying to copy others puts many fans off.
Pani Poni Dash is not all bad, the lead character Rebecca Miyamoto is a genius creation in her own right and the animation along with the nifty box art should in theory make a good series.
I end by saying Pani Poni Dash isn't that bad but there are plenty of other series on the market that are much better.

Very fullfilling to watch. Its funny, cute and will most likely leave you thinking maho!. Theres lots of random scenes/mouments completely irrelevant to the story that will make you think "what the hell?!?" (in a funny way)
There can sometimes be alot going on within a scene, which can be both a good or bad.
The english version is good and animations realy well done.

This is a great buy for anyone who likes anime that's completely bonkers. Regardless of anything i said, the cat that calls himself god should be the only reason needed to get this anime.

This is twisted, messed up and hugely funny, I want to spend an hour with the person who wrote this stuff it's excellent.... While the whole thing is ace it has to be said it's worth getting just for the Cat who lives in the soda machine who say's he's God..... Inspired!

I watched the entire series online and finished it within three days utterly hilarious although the other dvds are better.
To the person below who said this is a copy of azumanga daioh, just a quick note altohugh the azumanga daioh anime was released first, the pani poni dash manga was out before the azumanga dioah manga

This anime is quite possibly the funniest anime out there, apart from Azumanga Diaoh that is.
I can't stress how important it is to watch this with the original Japanese language, the American dub really messes this anime up [As it does with most, heh]
Himeko is a legend, you will be chanting 'Maho' to yourself after watching this, good buy.
