In Lawless streets the guilty are left unhindered to go about their business. Returning from a tour of duty in Iraq, former Paratrooper Bryant (Sean Bean) is appalled by what he sees in a country he no longer recognises. Determined to do something about it, he assembles a group of like minded souls who resolve to restore the balance between right and wrong, good and evil, enforcing justice with a brutality to match that of the once unpunished wrongdoers. But who decided when enough is enough?

In my opinion , this has to be one of my favorite films. It has some of the most realistic fight scenes and a great vigilante storyline. It has Sean Bean, Danny Dyer, and Bob Hoskins. If you are a fan of gritty British films like Dead Man's Shoes, This Is England, Football Factory and the business, This film is right for you. I would recommend it for all dvd collectors.
Hard to remember a worse movie

Whatever you do, don't buy this. It is terrible! The acting isn't allowed to be good, seeing as the script is so awful. I can't even talk about the plot because there simply wasn't one. It wasn't even good just as a violent movie. It seemed to be aiming towards some sort of moral message, but i can't say what it was. Nor can I say who I was even supposed to like, they all seemed like idiots. I'm really not sure what anyone was thinkin with this one
Could have been better but wasn't bad

Having read the reviews here before seeing the film I saw mostly it had either 1 star or 4 or 5 stars so to many pople they either loved it or hated it. I thought it was ok. It could have been a lot better granted. The director spoiled it for me with his irritating camerawork and yes I agree with an earlier review that the grainy camera doesn't make it look more gritty and real but it messes it up. On the whole I would say rent it not buy it but it passed away an hour and a half for me with decent entertainment.
