Filmed in 1938 this could be the first romcom ever made

A sparkling little gem of a film in which the perfectly matched Grant and Hepburn deliver their lines effortlessly and at lightening speed. The dialogue is witty and sharp the comic timing is seamless. This charming film is quite simply the best of it's genre. Howard Hawks gives us all a lesson in how it should be done.
