The second film fo the trilogy has a good story line and the already familiar characters are developed, a sequel will always be hard pushed to compete with the success of a film like "Curse of the Black Pearl" however "Dead Man's Chest" matches up very well against its prequel. Dead Man's Chest is definately a sequel and is not really made to be a stand alone film.

Quite a good watch actually. The series high point, Dead Mans chest has some great moments. Suprisingly funny too with Johnny Depp on fine form. The film has the best action sequences and typically stunning special effects and is by far better than the two others.

its good once it gets going, but takes for ever to get going, and is only ok, as expected johnny depp was fab in this but everyone else was sub standard and the voodoo women, absolutely terrible, she cant act and the accent is awefull, if she was supposed to be carribean you would never know, it has funny scenes but i refuse to watch the third one because of this if you want a good POTC film then with out a shadow of a doubt stick to the first!!!!!!!
