This review is again written by my 9 year old daughter Charlotte.
This Concert spin-off from the excellent Kids movie, has all the songs from the movie, and has all the actors performing them. The extras are good value and I can't wait for the sequel to the movie. This Concert disc is not very good value, as I can't imagine watching it over and over, as I do with the movies.Wait for the price to drop on this DVD because as a full price disc it's too expensive, if you are only going to watch it a few times.
But it's a good short term fix until HIGH SCHOOL 2 comes out.

I was looking foward to this dvd, as im a massive fan of the film but the concert footage is very poor. The cast seem to be miming through certain numbers and they are just plugging their solo work! The big High School Musical songs, such as Breaking Free and Start Of Something New, are great and Drew Seeley as Troy Bolton does a great job at fitting in with the original cast. The extras on the dvd are also very poor, there is a very short behind the scenes feature which is great but would be better if it were longer. The other bonus features are not worth looking at. In the cast interviews the cast say the concert is 90 minutes but there is only 55 minutes of footage actually on the dvd which is again quite annoying. Its an ok dvd, but i expected more really.

The High School Musical concert is.. entertaining, to be honest. I thought it wouldn't work, but wow, they've pulled it off! This DVD is packed with extras, some a little crappy than others, but overall this is well worth it. Full of fun, and very entertaining for HSM fans!
