Slightly better than the first, still REALLY underwhelming

Pretty average set. The extras are solid but weak in comparison to the Quadrilogy, and the movie is often infuriating (If you're a fan of the earlier Alien films that is). That's not to say there is nothing to recommend here. If you like Hollyoaks, you'll love the characters and plot, and some of the action is fun. And though I'm yet to hear it, I'm told the ADI commentary is a riot!

Disappointing

From the trailers it looked wicked but the film wasn't all that special. It had more gore and had the old style predator back but that wasn't enough to make this a memorable film. I wouldn't say this was worse than the first AVP but it defiantly wasn't better. The cast was annoying and the acting was poor. I think the directors had some good ideas for this but weren't experienced enough to make it great but I wish them luck in the future.
I WAS QUITE IMPRESSED...

I'm an avid Alien & Predator fan! I've got all the individual films... and Alien 1 n' 2 & Predator 1 n' 2 are modern classics! I don't care what anyone says!
Alien 3 was alright, Alien 4 was lame... so when I heard about Alien vs. Predator, I was skeptical! My worries were just... AVP 1 was dire, beyond belief...
So I wasn't expecting much from this one (AVP Requiem), but to my surprise... IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD!
Of course, it's still can't lace the boots of Alien 1 & 2, but my god... it's better than Alien 4 & AVP 1, HANDS DOWN!
If you love the Alien films as much as me, you won't be disappointed! Trust me!
