I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry features Adam Sandler and Kevin James as Chuck Levine and Larry Valentine; two firefighters who are the pride of their fire station: two guy's guys always side-by-side and willing to do anything for each other. Grateful Chuck owes Larry for saving his life in a fire, and Larry calls in that favor big time when civic red tape prevents him from naming his own two kids as his life insurance beneficiaries. But when an overzealous, spot-checking bureaucrat becomes suspicious, the new couple's arrangement becomes a citywide issue and goes from confidential to front-page news. Forced to improvise as love-struck newlyweds, Chuck and Larry must now fumble through a hilarious charade of domestic bliss under one roof. After surviving their mandatory honeymoon and dodging the threat of exposure, the well-intentioned con men discover that sticking together in your time of need is what truly makes a family.

What the hell was this supposed to be?
A good drama with Keivn James as a distressed widower trying to make sure his children are safe if he dies was great, but Adam Sandler as a homophobic character for 2 hours brings the 'humour'. It's a set back in gay rights to see how it works, and it being an R in America if the two kissed, which was needed, is appalling.
it's a homophobic film which tries to think it's open minded, and the drama is overtaken by poor taste comedy.

Shocking a new low in film

omg did these people watch the same film. Normally I stay away from Adam sandler films like a dog with rabies, but my friends persuaded me to watch this one at the cinima. What a mistake. The so called jokes are predictable, not funny and lack originality. Sandler plays the same character he does in all his films, just with a different name. Please don't waste your money on this film.

One of Adam's Sandlers greatest movies to date.
An absolute MUST watch. Comical storyline that had me in pieces.
DEFFINETLY a 5 star rating.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. Nothing special but the humour and the great script makes the movie enjoyable to watch and most important makes you smile.

 RE: Bigoted Nonsense

I only watched this film as my mate wanted to see it. I know it says a lot about him. It is like one of those awful TV shows in the 70's that poked fun at women, gays or any ethnic minorities.

I know let's pretend to be gay. It is funny when you are a 10 year old kid.
