When David (Luke Wilson) and Amy Fox's (Kate Beckinsale) car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, they are forced to spend the night at the only motel around, with only the TV to entertain them... until they discover that the low-budget slasher movies they're watching were all filmed in the very room they're sitting in. With hidden cameras now aimed at them... trapping them in rooms, crawlspaces, underground tunnels... and filming their every move, David and Amy must struggle to get out alive before whomever is watching them can finish their latest masterpiece.

A pretty decent thriller, very much in the traditional style of horror, without the gore, but concentrating more on thrills, this story is scary because it can, and probably does, happen in real life. After their car breaks down, a couple reluctantly check-in to a seedy motel only to discover home made snuff movies. Recommended.

This film had the potential to be really good.It has a pretty good storyline but the ending is so poor,you will be expecting something else to happen then the film finishes!Worth a watch though.

I had a few doubts about this movie, but when i watched it i was pleasantly surprised and scared...the film is very gripping and very tense, ienjoyed it alot.
