Scrubs: Series 5 (4 Discs)

Now word has it that Scrubs lost its touch after series 4. This could not be more wrong, after what i'd heard i was quite worried about watching this but i have to say Scrubs series 5 is as good as if not better than any of the previous series. It never stops being funny and i honestly mean that, theres not a single episode that wont make you laugh and for a tv show to consistently acheive that is a huge credit to the writers and cast. Standout moments from the series for me were the Episode that Zach Braff Directed (which showed he's ace behind the camera as well as in front of it). Carla and Turk finally getting pregnant and the episodes My Lunch and My Fallen Idol in which we see that Dr Cox is human afterall and even the most ego-tistical people need a shoulder to cry on sometimes. Overall this is 24 episodes of laughter,tears and a whole lot of Newbie ripping that makes for a fantastic dvd boxset. If you dont own it: Buy it, if you do own it :Stop reading my review and go and watch it!!!!!!!

buy it! funniest tv show ever. zach braff is amazing and every episode i full of laughs. you've gotta love "JD". endless moaning by dr cox, carla and turks relationship is still.....well.......going. its a scrubs fans must have. if you have never seen scrubs before still buy it, it can make anyone laugh!

If you buy this you wont be disappointed, it will keep you laughing throughout and you will want all 5 series and be pre-ordering the 6th when you have watched a couple episodes. The characters are amazing and the comedy is unbelievable. This is my favourite comedy and i believe that you would feel the same when you have watched it.

Scrubs in my oppinion is legendary in its unusual outlooks on hospital life and equally heart warming and breaking storylines.

And occasionly just occasionly its throws in something truly ground breaking, that i believe to be a risk but lets face it with writers like they have its not much of a risk.

A must buy for anyone who takes pleasure in laughing.

Season 5 of Scrubs holds up very well and occassionally even surpasses previous seasons! It just seems to get funnier and more emotional.

Don't miss "My Way Home" the 100th episode (directed by Zach "JD" Braff) based heavily on the Wizard of Oz. Also "His Story III" where we see the Janitor's side of things and see the character develop more. The highlight of the season for myself is the two episode arc consisting of "My Lunch" and "My Fallen Idol", the 2 episode are brillaint TV extremely emotional while still grounded firmly in Scrubs territory with the humour, the always fantastic John C. McGinley is superb as Dr. Cox in dealing with the story, that I won't reveal here.

Towards the end of the season we meet Kim, a character that will influence heavily in season 6 and takes a key role in season 5's finale "My Transition". My only negative point here is when JD is fitted into Turk's backpack in the first episode, however I can live with it!

Overall the season is brillant! A must buy for fans and newcomers alike.
