- Behind the scenes of Bobby Z
Marked for death by a biker gang, ex-Marine convict Tim Kearney (Paul Walker) just got one last chance to walk out of jail alive. A scheming DEA agent (Laurence Fishburne) needs somebody to impersonate recently deceased drug-lord Bobby Z... and Tim happens to be a dead ringer. It's a risky proposition, but if Tim plays his part right, he may be able to claim Bobby Z's smoking hot exgirlfriend (Olivia Wilde) and a cool fortune in illegal profits. Unfortunately, taking on Bobby Z's name also means taking on his bloodthirsty enemies. Caught in the crossfire, Tim runs for his life as he tries to find a way out of his deadly masquerade.

Roadkill, The Fast & The Furious, Running Scared and The Skulls are all good movies starring Paul Walker,so based on his previous work and the look of a good trailer i decided to give this movie a try. In the words of Public Enemy " Don't Believe The Hype", this is not a good movie in any way shape or form. For starters the man who Paul Walker is trying to emulate he looks nothing like( Paul Walker is fine he isn't!!), the movie looks like it was shot on a bad budget, therefore the overall feel is lacking. The plot is ridiculous, acting is dull and the pace is slow at times to the point of you think is this never gonna get to some sort of ending...Do yourselves a favour and watch one of the other Paul Walkers movies i mentioned you won't be disappointed with those!!!
pathetic

this really is one of the worst modern films i have ever seen.
i have over 600 dvd's in my collection and this could go streight in the bin.
it is just pathetic and doesn't even deserve my time to review it.
couldnt even watch it through to the end...and i allways watch
films to the end.
if you have seen 'a' film before do not buy this...it discusted me.
the single dumbest, dumbest, dumbest film i have ever seen.
have the guts to print this play.
'this film is better than the title may suggest'

'tim kearney' (paul walker) ex-marine turned a 'marked man' as a jailbird happens to be a double for a 'big time'
drug dealer that is said to be dead, after capture he supposedly dies of a heart attack.
'dea' agent ( laurence fishburne ) offers 'kearney' freedom
if he becomes 'bobby z' in an effort to get his partner released from a 'mexican' gang leader.
nothing is as it seems and 'kearney' finds himself in a fight to stay alive let alone gain the freedom promised.
this is an action packed roller -coaster ride that is a total
joy to watch, i believe if you like action films this will be for you..... hope i've helped you decide.
