Karas ("The Crow") is the guardian spirit of Tokyo, but the city is thrown into disarray when Eko, a former Karas, returns and attempts to seize power. Yurine, an entity who embodies the will of the people, summons Nue, a sort of Karas-in-training, to defeat Eko.
This Anime series features breathtaking fight sequences, brilliant character and set designs, stunning hybrid animation and a great musical score by the Prague Symphony Orchestra.

Karas part one is the most amazing animation I have ever seen, and i was very excited about part two. However, it really did not live up to expectations. There were far less fight scenes and the one it did have were short and poorly made. The final fight scene lasted a VERY short time which was greatly disappointing. Also the voices were less enthusiastic and slightly more 'kiddy' which was irratating.
Generally, if you have seen part 1 it leaves you with many questions, and Karas part 2 does indeed answer them. But in a less then perfect way. Suggested that, if you buy part 1 (which I highly recommend) then buy part 2 just to understand it, not to really appreciate the effects, which there really arnt any.
AWESOME!!

After you watch vol.1 you have to watch this despite what it contains. I was expecting much more and was like "come on" in bits. The flash-back scene explaining the characters past was on point, but the film depends on battles which do deliver graphically and plot wise within the movie. The film is trying to continue the story and is mainly a path route for the franchise to continue.
