A classic film made up of short stories by the king of creepy, Stephen King, the story of the man getting contaminated by the meteor and weeds growing everywhere is played by Stephen king himself.
If you haven't seen this , its definitely worth a watch. If you have seen then it looks a bit dated now.
fab film

Well this is one of my favourite ones of all time..only thing I never liked about this film was the last story not becuase it was garbage but because trhe cockroaches are desgusting..well I bought this from here and saw all the special features as I really like this one a lot..and discovered they actually had to exterminate all the cockroaches after the makeing of the film....but they reckoned several probly escaped lol
Well this set of stories never bore I have watched them a lot fo times..and never get sick of them...they are funny horrible...entertaining...and some situations that can easily e belived from real life like a man who dreams of murdering his iritateing wife...and deciudes to try and feed her to the monster in the crate under the stairs.
And then the lonely man who spots a meteor crashing in his backyard and gets contimated and ends up truning itno a great ig weed himself....ok this dont happen in real life ha ha!
And then the over hygienc unpleasant man mister pratt...getting what he deserves getting attacked by cockroaches.
And the first one about an old gramp who is clearly very dificult..and slams his cane down over and over shouting...I want my cake....and then aunt bedlia cant handle it so whacks him on the head with an ashtray...dead...and he cpomes back for revenge still shouting I want my cake....wonderful stuff!
Very good Classic horror comedy flick.
Small point about creepshow 2 and yes there is a creepshow 3.
I read alot of put dowsn about the second one..I agree not as classy as the first one...but stillI think the second one is rather good too...maybe not full of originality but its still quite good in my opinion..and the 3rd one..is quite bad .....a shameful addition to the creepshow series...but notable point its not romero or king...its some other lot.
I want my cake!

OMG, I didn't know this had been re-issued as a 2 disc set! Freaked me out when i first saw it, loads of creepy stuff on here. May look a tad dated by today's standards, but that's OK. Much better than the sequel that came later.
One of the best horror films ever

The first time I saw it I couldn't sleep for a week...
I love everything about it the comic style sequences, the horror elements the jokes mainly from Stephen King as Jordy I laugh to death every time I watch it. Tom Atkins and the father who doesn't want his son to read comics is such a brilliant opening scene and George Romero did amazing job directing it and Tom Savini's special effects are fantastic his best is Fluffy from 'The Crate'. I'm so glad that's it's released on 2-disc cause of the features. 10/10
A Classic !!!

Creepshow has to be one of the all time classic horror films.
I have this on region 1 dvd, and i remember first seeing this when i was a kid, and thought then it was awesome.
The individual stories are very good, my favourities are the old guy wanting his cake and the guy who hates bugs, and there are some really funny bits in it aswell ( a young Ed Harris dancing is classic).
This is my second favourite Stephen King film, just behind IT.
If you love classic horror, you will love this !!!
