This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Kal Penn plays the son of immigrant Indian parents who moved to America to give their children a better future. When his father dies, Kal Penn journeys to discover who he really is and what he wants from life. Stunning cinematography and brilliant acting from every cast member. I would highly recommend this film to anyone and also to families.
A must see!

The movie, based on a novel by author Jhumpa Lahiri, shows the struggle between first-generation Hindu Bengali immigrants to the US and their children. This story can be mirrored throughout immigrant families in the western world and aspects of it people (myself included) can definately relate to...it truly highlights that bitter-sweet nature of being immersed into two very different cultures! One of my favourite films from last year and now part of my dvd collection!
