This series was brilliant and perfect in every way. I absolutely adore the period that it is set in and it was able to show the viewer what it was like to live in that era. Th acting was supurb and the clothes simply stunning. I wish that there had been a few more series though!!.
I recall watching this wonderfull series from the very first , what a fabulous show , from Stella and Louise ,, those glorious fashions ,, not to mention the music score from Jim Parker ,, a great series from the BBC ( when the licence was cheaper !) They don't make 'em like this anymore !! ps I can't believe I'm the first to comment !!
