seen every episode but gonna treat myself and buy this.this series was always in the shadow of `hercules;the legendary journeys`but soon established itself in its own right and became a more popular and rounded series.every episode is fun, exciting, witty, well written.some were very dark and violent which only showed the range of its characters.lucy lawless became an icon overnight and held the whole thing together.renee`o connor as gabrielle was a perfect foil for xena and the 2 of them had great chemistry.throw in some terrific supporting heroes & villains such as joxer, aries & callisto and you have a tv treat.stirring stuff.

i saw xena right from the very beginning and was hooked instantly by the characters story and the epic battles that commence throughout the six year run.
through the six years you can see how the characters develop and the plots grow stronger.
season 3 is probably my favourite season out of the six with 4 and 5 just behind.
season 3 developed the characters and gave us an insight into xenas deadly past this season featured the greatest villains she has ever faced and it all comes full circle in the explosive and shocking finale which overflows into season 4.
season 5 gives the show a new direction after the aftermath of season 4s ides of march.
with eciting storylines and the twilight of the gods.
XPLOSIVE!!!
