2 Days In Paris follows two days in the relationship of a New York based couple; a French photographer Marion and American interior designer Jack-as they attempt to re-infuse their relationship with romance by taking a vacation in Europe. Their trip to Venice didn't really work out,--they both came down with gastroenteritis. They have higher hopes for Paris. But the combination of Marion's overbearing non-English speaking parents', flirtatious ex-boyfriends', and Jack's obsession with photographing every famous Parisian tombstone and conviction that French condoms are too small, only adds fuel to the fire. Will they be able to salvage their relationship?

The movie also written and directed by her, it's not surprising this is probably on of Delpy's best performance as neorotic French-American who is just returning from Venice with her boyfriend (Adam Goldberg, who is also great in this movie). Before going back to New York, however, they decide to stop off in Paris for, yup, 2 days. 2 longs days, it would seem for him.
The movie is basically about Goldberg's character discovering that not only are Delpy's French friends mostly male, but that she's also had a fling with almost all of them and that she's a bit of a hussy.
The more funnier moments of the film are with Delpy's parents (who are incidentally also her parents in real life which didn't hurt) and Goldberg trying to have conversation, in spite of the language barrier. But much to his dismay, he discovers even her parents are a little kinky, shall we say...?
Anyway, it's a fun movie for a lazy summer evening. It's not for everyone, but I'd say it's worth checking out.
not for me sorry.dissapointing!!!
