Well I thought that I was getting a good deal here, I didn't expect miracles for £3 but I when I watched it I thought "oooooh this would be good to watch all the way through". Not only have I seen a snippet of a series - I paid to see it! Feeling such a mug. Recommendation? Don't bother buying it - you'll either get angry 'cause it is lacking or bored because you have to wait for the next instalment.

Whilst the first season of Heroes is an enthralling and entertaining way to spend your evenings, the first episode is sadly very weak; this DVD seems destined to be reduced or given away free as its totally pointless and as stated contains an episode that isnt up to the standards nor has the "feel" of the rest of the series. Take a chance and buy the box set!

Before we start the description says that this is a Special introductory DVD. If you're unsure that you're going to enjoy the show and missed it on TV, why would you shell out 45 quid the complete series or 25 quid on part one? Instead you pay a paltry 3 pounds and see if it's your cup of tea? In my opinion it is a fantastic show with a great premise and loads of future potential.

I agree with the guy above me, why bring out just one episode when the boxset is out a couple of months after, it's like Doctor Who, why bring out DVD's with 3 episodes on it when you get the whole series boxset with loads of extras as well, I also love the show but can't see the point of individual DVD's

what is the point in bring out the first episode of a 23 episode series. Dont get me worg it is a good show with a good plot and characters so i would reccomend the full box set i cant see the point in the fist episode
