Mamma Mia!

I went to see this last night and it proper cheered me up! This is a feel good girly summer flick. One of the best films I've seen in ages! Cant recommend this enough, get the girls together and have a brilliant night!

I went to see it in the cinema and absolutely loved it. I already loved ABBA so when I seen Mamma Mia I just wanted to see it again! Can't wait until it's out on DVD.

it is one of the best chick flicks of the year if not the best for a long time! the cast is superb, julie walters is hysterical and the cast are just wow! it is so funny and entertaining! cant beat a bit of abba and an audience! seriously entertaining and a wonderful experience for any woman looking for a laugh and cheering up!

OMG What a joy to see! I don't think there has been a feel good movie this good in a long time! Meryl Streep was AMAZING, Julie Walters and Christine Baranski were Hilarious, Amanda Seyfried the voice of an angel and stunning to boot and PHWOAR comes to mind when I think of Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan!
This was a must see film whether your a fan of Abba's or not...I simply cannot wait to see it again!

Went to see the movie yesterday and oh what a joy, its funnier than anticipated and everyone was singing and it just made you want to dance - this movie would be great as a sing-along version. Nothing more to say - JUST SEE IT - one of best movies this year, along with 'Sex & the City'. A MUST SEE!!!!! OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Got dragged kicking and screaming to watch this film, However once the film started had a smile from ear to ear throughout film. This is a MUST SEE film. Great song, great laugh, fell good movie.

This is the best film I have seen for years, even my boys (13 and 10) enjoyed it!! Just one word of advise, if you like musicals go and see this one, if you don't stay - at home as there is an Abba Hit every 2-3 mins! Brilliant fun, wish I was there!

Absolutely fab, brilliant cast, acting, singing and set!!! Very watchable!! Will definitely buy it as soon as it comes out on DVD!!

I went to see the musical in Toronto in May 2001, and I had the same feeling after seing it as I had after going to the cinema yesterday and seeing the movie:

- The story arch is crap.
- The acting is so so
- The singing is so so

But: the music is fantastic, and the feeling of the entire crowd in the theatre, and the sing-along, and the laughter... it was worth going to the movie just that.

So, if you go to see a movie for the acting, the story or even some of the singing.. then don't see this movie.

But if you want to go se a fun, funny, loveable and just great movie: go see this, and one thing is clear: both me and my mum are going to buy this DVD as soon as it arrives!!!

By the way: Pierce Brosnan had an OK voice, Meryl Streep had a greater voice than I'd have thought...

...but.. Amanda Seyfield took "the cake" she was fenomenal in her vocals!!!

This has got to be the best film musical of the past 20 years.And those people who critisise by saying the stars can't act or sing are totally missing the point.. This is abba music as we all love to sing it. Oh the actors can act ,and they do very well.......what a film!!!!!!!!
