Ok so i seem to be on a mission for british comedy tv series and this was next after i had recently purchased black books (also starring Tamsin Grieg) and loved every minute of that series. Green wing however is spot on! I absolutely love this series and near enough every spare minute i have been watching it. The cast are brilliant and work really well together but furthurmore the screenwriting is superb. Channel 4 certainly have a knack for casting comedy series and even more so making them so outrageously funny that they are more than just memorable! Green wing certainly isnt your run-of-the-mill comedy and there are moments that almost make you cringe but not in a bad way! The comedy delivers on all fronts and breaks down those boundaries making it a very entertaining watch for most age ranges! Characters to look out for are certainly the Sue White (staff liason officer) and i must say i love Alan Statham who is played by the immense Mark Heap, who would be familiar in other… more »
