Rowdy Mexican youths Julio (Gael García Bernal from Amores Perros) and Tenoch (Diego Luna) set off in a car to find a beach with older woman Luisa (Maribel Verdú). At first the young men are more interested in drinking and seducing their passenger, but it's a journey that holds much in store for their friendship and their outlook on life. Alfonso Cuaron's road movie Y Tu Mama Tambien manages to be wise, funny and very sexy.

This is why cliche teen movie like american pie are crap. Y tu mama tambien tells a very real story of two 17 year olds going on a road trip. The story has so much substance, emotion and twist, that it is one of my favourite films ever. Watch this film before you watch any other.
