A really sweet little film with a cast of well known actors from the likes of Brassed Off and Early Doors. Loosely based on a real allotment project where asylum seekers were given patches of land to help integrate them into the community.They discover both the best and worst of their newfound community as they tend their allotments. There is a small selection of extras on the disc including an interesting feature on the creation of the allotment on waste ground in Liverpool. This film may not be oscar material but its a lovely relaxing movie and not just for allotment owners.
