This is easily the best season of the series with some truely great moments and really great episodes. I would recommend Barely legal, prick up your ears, saving private brian and my favourite whistle while your wife works. My only little problem with the season is it only has 13 episodes while season 3 has 21 or 22 episodes

Some people think that this season isnt very good but i disagree. This season is just as funny as other seasons and i feel deserves more respect than its getting. The only critisism i have is that its a 3 disc box set but the third disc theres just behind the scenes stuff but no episodes which makes the season smaller, but apart from that top notch. Enjoy

Having loved the first 5 seasons of Family Guy I bought this set looking forward to yet more mirth and mayhem. Sadly I was disappointed. In too many episodes there just seems to be a thin plot line which is filled with way too many flashbacks. These flashbacks in the past have been quick, quirky, few and funny. This spoiled for me what has, until now, been a fantastic series. That said there are a couple of gems in this box set, all of them featuring Meg as the main character. "Hell comes to Quahog" and "Barely Legal" are really hilarous! Based on this I shall buy season 7 when it is on sale, just in case the standard remains the same. If you get the chance to buy season 6 at a cutdown price then get it otherwise, think carefully before parting with your hard earned cash.
