( New York radio host Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) has a life that she loves and a fiance she adores. All of it is taken from her when a brutal attack leaves Erica badly wounded and her fiance dead. Unable to move past the tragedy, Erica begins prowling the city streets at night to track down the men she holds responsible. Her dark pursuit of justice catches the public's attention, and the city is riveted by her anonymous exploits. But with the NYPD desperate to find the culprit and a dogged police detective (Terrence Howard) hot on her trail, she must decide whether her quest for revenge is truly the right path, or if she is becoming the very thing she is trying to stop.

A very good thriller! If you treat it as an homage to the revenge flick, and don't expect it to be full of originality, the film will work best. Foster is excellent as always, and there's one or two set-pieces that will have you cheering her on!

This is just a fantastic film. A superb perfomance from Jodie Foster. She is an amazing actress. The story was great, the acting was great, great directing from Neil Jordan. Everything u want from a film. This is defintely a must see.

Good movie, had a tendancy to drag near the end, but all in all it was good. Its a story of a woman seeking revenge & taking justice into her own hands. Jodi Foster is brilliant as always & acted the role of Erica Bane superbly. If you like movies with violence & revenge then this is right down your alley.
