The Office (American) sets itself apart in the second season. And in the third season it firmly sets itself above the British counterpart. The storylines and running themes are fantastic. Simply put this is funniest US TV comedy to come out in years. Season 4 is even funnier.

Probably the funniest show on TV in recent years. It upsets me to say it - but Seasons 3 and 4 even out-funny the UK series.

If you've never watched this, you are seriously missing out.
So much better than the UK Version, thanks to the lack of Ricky Gervais on screen.
Steve Carrell is outstanding as Michael Scott, the manager of the Office. But he is so well supported by an amazing cast, this series includes the merging of two offices which leads to some of the funniest scenes I have ever witnessed in any TV Show.
The support from "major" Characters like Jim, Dwight, Pam, Andy and Karen is just excellent. Angela really emerges in this season and is totally hilarious, then there are the small but brilliant inputs from Phylis, Meredith, Oscar, Kevin, Stanly, Kevin, Kelly and Ryan which add so much to the show.
Seriously a must buy, or at least give the (cheaper) first season a look first, although it starts to become great during Season 2, Season 1 shows signs of how great it has become.

If you like the UK The Office and think the US version is not for you then this will change your mind, this is a hillarious TV show and not to be missed, Superb Acting and Direction and great bonus features just buy and watch it, A pity it is buried on ITV2 in the UK and Channel 6 in Ireland this should be on the main channels. Just think 9 Hours of Steve Carrell doing a masterclass well worth the price.

I watched most of season 3 on the internet as I was desperate to know what happened, and it did not disappoint! Absolutely hilarious! I've also watched season 4 which was cut short i think by the writers strike but it was also really good to see how everyone develops! Dwight is so funny but would be nothing without Jim!!

The best season so far, so freaking hilarious! Dwight and Jim are just the best and Ryan has many great moments, i'll be watching this season over and over.
I cannot wait for season 4! i hope i won't have to wait too long.

I have been counting down the days until the release of the 3rd series, its been pre-ordered since day 1!!!

PLEASE buy this DVD... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED....its one of my fav programs and i can see why so many people love it. Looking forward to seeing the Dwight music video aswell! :-)

Everyone should experience the American office, once you watch it you will be hooked!

Lets face it, season one was a disapointing near word for word copy of the original UK TV series. Then i found season two, Im hooked! Season three is even better! Building on the foundations of season 2. Its been on pre-order for me since day 1

Not many British comedies transalate to US hilarity - but this does - in bucketloads. In fact i've grown to love The Office US- style more than the obviously brilliant original. Its captivating. Dwight is a legend. Genius casting. I can't recommend it enough. Buy all three series. Now. GO ON THEN!!
