This is a mildly entertaining film that doesn't attempt to raise the standards of it genre nor does it try to stray too far from the first average outing.

It's a simple plot quickly thrown together to produce some relatively nice actions scenes followed by some painful light hearted moments.

In a year which brought us action films like Transformers I'd have to say hold off buying till it's on offer and spend your money on something else.

I loved the first Fantastic 4 movie it was a great story, fun and original, and yet again we have a great sequel, loads of fun, great cast once again and amazing effects, the silver surfer was done justice and looked super cool, these are 2 of the best marvel films ever made, great fun, check it out if you dont own them.

Fantastic special effects!

Great Family fun - the kids loved it! A nice sequal with lots of action and a very cool cast. Recomend as one to keep the children (and adults) amused.

this film isn't meant to be the next Xmen, Spiderman or Batman. The fantastic four was a comic aimed more at the younger market hence the simplistic story and child like themes. The silver surfer is great in this film and true to his character in the comics. The characters of the fantastic four are also played well and true to the comic, with certain characters not seeing eye to eye etc... I can't give this film 5 stars as it is still missing that something which makes it appeal to adults and children, but still a great comic adaptation.

this falls well short in terms of the spectacle presented in the first '4' movie.
however--- a mystery object is sighted in the sky also
massive holes are appearing in many area's on the earth's
surface.
a mysterious life force is holding the 'surfer' to ransom
forcing him to prepare the earth for destruction to maintain it's power.
'victor' who the 'four' thought they had dealt with in the previous adventure offers help, should they trust him ?
the 'four' have to save the world from destruction, they
do need help, but where will it come from ?
the sopecial effects are still pretty good, the film picking up in the second half does enough to hold your interest.
so it's not bad, i'm sure the kids will love it.
