The Fantastic Four are at it again combining their powers for the protection of mankind. The Silver Surfer is under command of a greater power that is sending him to planet after planet to destroy their existance. Its unlucky that he meets trouble when he comes to earth. Can the Fantastic Four stop him before the time is to late, who knows...
After enjoying the first one I over hyped myself for this one and felt let down by the film. It just seemed to simple and got rather predictable and boring. After taking a step back and looking at the wider picture I saw that this film had been designed for a much younger market though so this is why I have given it 3 stars.
good fun

this film isn't meant to be the next Xmen, Spiderman or Batman. The fantastic four was a comic aimed more at the younger market hence the simplistic story and child like themes. The silver surfer is great in this film and true to his character in the comics. The characters of the fantastic four are also played well and true to the comic, with certain characters not seeing eye to eye etc... I can't give this film 5 stars as it is still missing that something which makes it appeal to adults and children, but still a great comic adaptation.
Average but better then the first one

Its way better then the first one but that wasn't really hard! The film has faults but its quick and the action scenes come quick and fast but something is still missing that you can't put your finger on!
To sum up its an average film and the best word to descrive it is rentable! It aint a film you can watch over and over
I watched this with friends at the cinema, and still ask ourselves how we sat through it. As with the famous comic book flop 'The Hulk', special effects are depended on almost fully, carrying out extravagant stunts with the London Eye and chasing the silver surfer all day long- a creature with no character development added to a storyline with no depth. I admit it may be enjoyable for children, but poor acting and thought makes this a terrible watch.
Fantastic

The first one was far from good but in some ways watchable. This one is nothing but boring from start to finish.
End this "franchise" now. PLEASE!!!
NOT QUITE FANTASTIC BUT NOT BAD EITHER!!

I would go on record & say I have seen better films from Marvel such as the first 2 Spiderman films aswell as the Xmen Trilogy & Blade. Haven't said that I do think this is better than the first FF. The Silver Surver looks cools (voiced by Laurence Fishburne) & all the orignal characters return including Julian Mcmahon's Dr Doom. A worthwhile family film.....but there are also better on offer.
Not as bad as you think

Despite the critics, both here and in general, this film was most entertaining. Shame it was not long enough and expanded on areas where Doom was recruited by the military etc, etc.
