Previously thought lost, this George King thriller is Hitchcockian in its script and film-noir photography. Set in Blackpool's Golden Mile just after the war, it tells the story of Jim Harding (Douglass Montgomery) who is living in an unhappy marriage with his adulterous and avaricious wife Diana (Patricia Burke).

Harding falls in love with candyfloss seller Hazel Court and decides to murder his wife after she refuses to divorce him. The twists in the film are unexpected and the thrilling finale is set on the top of the Blackpool Tower.
