Bond is back!
Back to the beginning of James Bond's career, MI6's newest recruit (Daniel Craig) is tasked with taking down a man known as "Le Chiffre" (Mads Mikkelsen), a money launderer for terrorists who is raising operational funds at a high-stakes poker game in the exclusive Montenegro establishment of Casino Royale...
Exhilarating, breathless and at times brutal, this is the first Bond adventure since 1987 to be based on one of Ian Fleming's original novels. Paul Haggis (Oscar winning writer/director of Crash) adapts Casino Royale for a new generation as Daniel Craig, new Aston Martin DBS in tow, fills out the tuxedo of the ultra-smooth and ultra-deadly superspy.

Casino Royale completely gives the James Bond series a desperately needed push in the right direction!
Steering away from that ridiculous Roger Moore type rubbish that became of James Bond, riddled with stupid catchphrases, Casino Royale gets gritty and it really works. With amazing locations and great fight scenes, this is by no account a tired old bond film.
This is all heightened by the fact that Craig plays excellently as Bond, even though many had their doubts about him.
Excluding the earlier ones, this is easily the best bond film ever made!

This is far beyond one of the best James Bond films in the entire series - Almost as good as 'From Russia With Love', 'Goldfinger' and 'Living Daylights'. The story is a typical Bond-story with terrorists dealing weapons and might start World War III. But so what, it is great entertainment!
Daniel Craig is marvellous as Bond, he is a mix of Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan, which I think is a great mix! Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre is good, but not memorable. Another Dane in the film is Jesper Christensen, who is beyond evil as the hitman Mr. White.
Watch it and make your own opinion, but take my word for it: You won't be disappointed if you love the more serious Bond.
Playing cards can be deadly , Mr Bond

A new player as James Bond , one the females will love no doubt ? . Not that many gadgets in this film , though keep your laptop handy . Track down the world's most biggest villian , watch the sexy female valet lady (can she be trusted ?) . It seems the whole world is based around a game of cards . Its got your car chases , the shoot outs etc . Not bad but this seems to be the plot for the last 40 years or so .
