A chatty, worm-like parasite offers the utmost psychedelic experiences to its host if they allow him to latch onto their necks and inject their brains with a bizarre secretion. For Brian this trip is better than his dull life, but in order to maintain the buzz, he must provide this parasite with its favourite food - human brains.

 "..CLASSIC CULT 80'S HORROR.."

This is a very unusual horror movie from the 80s from the director of basket case and frankenhooker, lots of blood, ooze and gore in a bizarre story about a man who gets a parasite attached to him that makes him go out and get victims for the parasite to eat and it talks to him, if youre a big fan of basket case then you know how weird this director can be and brain damage is certainly now a cult classic and a must for any horror collection, its very tongue in cheek but brilliant non the less.

 Low Budget sick and fun.

Frank Henenlotter is a genius.

His films are basically mad and people should watch them not expecting a serious/big Budget extravaganza.

In short it is about a monster that feeds on peoples brains. It lives in a host who is tanked up on a mysterious drug that takes them an almighty trip. While off there face the monster strikes.

If you like this film watch Basket Case his greatest film.

 Hilarious!

Such a unique, funny and pretty gross film - brilliant! Certainly worth watching but be prepared for a film that's "so bad it's good"!!

 wierd but brilliant

brain damage is wierd to say the least but absolutely brilliant.what can i say its got everyhting.gore/sex and some unitentional funny moments.writer and director frank hennelotter who made the cult classic basket case brings us something different again.its about this worm like creature called aylmer who needs human brains to live and enlists the help of this young man who he injects this fluid in to his brain that makes him so high he will do anything aylmer asks.gabe bartalos special make up effects are very good and the budget values are a lot higher than basket case.overall a very weird/sick/gore fest of a film but brilliant
