This truly is a lovely film, I guess some people may find it too sugary and sweet, well that's their opinion. I think it's great. A toy store that is alive, quirky humour, a guest appearance from kermit the frog. It is a kid's film, so tap into the big kid in you when you watch it and remember when all toy shops seemed like that for you when you were young (like getting the job that allows you to play with lego all day).

  Top Notch

I watched this film on tv with the outlook that it wouldn't be very good, but I ended up falling in love with it! I think that is how you have to view the film before you see it in order to like it. Firstly it has amazingly talented actors/actresses, and secondly a very deep and original storyline. I will be buying this film very soon!!

Omg so boring. I sat down to watch this with my 3 kids they all in turn got bored and within 30 mins of putting on they had all gone off to play. I ended up sitting alone watching this, and i sadly admit was totally bored 2. Not as good as hyped up to be. Very disappointed

I bought this thinking it would be a perfect family film for us all to sit and watch....Got that wrong!
Apart from a very funny Dustin Hoffman this film has no real point.

Some funny moments but nowt to write home about!
At the end all your left woundering is what was that about?!

I saw this trailer at the cinema and thought it looked great so i was happy to see it on Virgins penny movie week so i purchased it and was totally unenthralled!!!.(even though i did watch it twice)
Dustin Hoffman was great as Mr Magorium and his character grew on me,all in all would be ok for kids and was worth it for 1p but not the best film as the ending was quite uneventful...shame really could've been loads better than it was.

The film is okay, just okay though, it's delightful and quite feel good, but it lacks in story and in strength of the story, most people won't like it, it's not like enchanted or anything. And perhaps a bit boring at times. Kids might enjoy it though.

As soon as i saw this film being advertised i was so ready for it to be out and to go straight to buy it, and as soon as i did i was quite happy until i watched it, extreamly hard to get into and over all just not a very exiting story, to be honest it was boring.
