Sarah Wolfe was the only living survivor from the massacre at the Vanacutt Mansion, but no one believed her claims that ghosts were responsible for the gruesome murders that took place there. Now her recent and questionable suicide leaves her sister, Ariel, no choice but to devote herself to finding out who - or what - was responsible for her death. Ariel discovers that Sarah sent her the diary of the sadistic Dr. Vanacutt just before she died, offering clues to the diabolical evil that resides within the house. But the diary also makes Ariel a target in a deadly treasure hunt that leads a group of unwitting victims back to the Vanacutt Mansion, reawakening the terror imprisoned within the house on the hill.
This time, the house and the evil spirits inside are out to make sure that no one leaves alive.

This movie sucks, but in a laughable way.
I'm a person who picks apart movies when I watch them, y'know looking for mistakes and errors...
In terms of originality, this film gets a big, fat zero.
I bought it becasue I wanted the sequal to House on Haunted Hill.
But don't get me wrong, I did kind of like it, there were some good scenes in that explain alot about why the first film occured, which I never knew. So I'm grateful for that.
If you're bored to tears and want a cheap, crappy, but mildly amusing "horror" movie to watch, just pick this up.
If you don't enjoy it, you can have the pleasure of personally destroying it.
Have fun.
In some ways better than the first

This is actually a really good movie, in many ways maybe better than the first. The insane doctor eerie doctor from the first House on Haunted Hill gets a lot more screen time in this movie and it helps. This movie isn't bad at all, its well worth a watch. It might seem a little poor as a sequel but as a movie itself it's not bad. And in my own personal opinion it has a lot more scary element than the whole "darkness" from the first one.
If you are a fan of horror movies this is definitely a movie worth seeing.
just an ok film!!!
