The beauty of this movie is that the whole story is known through media and the team had to build suspense in the movie and they did a fantastic job in that.
The DVD should contain special features where the actual 'eric' comments on the film and also has deleted scenes, alternate scenes and the actual documentory aired on US television.
I did not buy this though :) just rented last weekend

Because this film was based on a true story, they have to stick to what actually happened, which does mean the action is very limited. However if you look into the deeper meaning of the film you will see a fantasitc story of trust and betrayal. The acting from both leads is fantastic and the production is pretty good too. A good film which is well worth the money!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Spy vs. spy

Impressive and super intense thriller about a young agent (Phillippe) going undercover to draw a suspected double agent (Cooper) out of deep cover.

'Breach' is one of the most intense and powerful thrillers of the year. As the story goes along the two spies gains each other's trust, and suddenly the assignment becomes a lethal game of who to trust.

Chris Cooper is supreme in the role of the spy leaking top-secret information and Phillippe does a decent job as the young man being put on the job of his life.
