The shield is the best show ever to grace the fat little happy box we call 'television', and season 6 is no exception to the rule.

Vic mackey is a legend, we should clone him and replace our speed camera obsessed rozzers with a army of vics. Crime would decrease to zero.

But the real star is the guy who plays shane vandrell. His acting is superb and gripping.

Buy this boxset. It is one hell of a ride!

the shield is one of the best programmes on tv buy the box sets and indulge . Vick macky is one bad ass cop but you cant help but love him and his boys.

Ive always loved this show, i have every season and have loved them all.
However this one i found dissapointing, its good but not as good as the rest, everything is very dragged out and it almost loses its gritty feel which i have come to expect from The Shield.
Overall good show just not the best season.

I have watched The Shield from the start after hearing good things.........I have been so captivated by every episode since the first one that i cant wait for the next one. I have leant the previous seasons to a friend who describes it as a brilliant series and he is hard to please when it comes to tv. If you have neever seen this programme, start at season 1 and enjoy

The Shield is by far the best Cop Show out. You will have to buy all the series on DVD because once you've watched one episode you won't stop. It's addictive so get ready to be hooked. Vic and the boys are so bad, but The Shield is So Good.... I can't wait for my next fix!!!!

Quite simply up there with "24" as one of the best and most addictive shows around!!
Start from season 1, you wont be disapointed!!

Outstanding series, hugely overlooked in the UK, by being buried in the channel 5 scheduling.
Stunning script, guest stars and central characters. Everyone who I've recommended The Shield to has loved it.

The shield is, in my opinion, the best show on tv, and watching this season on television, it gets better season after season. I keep thinking to myself that the next season can't be as good as the last 1, but every time it blows the last 1 out of the water. Every actor brings so much energy and reality to the screen that you are hooked, the story has gotten even grittier, with the past being unburied, betrayal, and Vic reaching a new level of anger and punishment. If you like the Shield BUY this. hell if you don't like the sheild..... you are crazy. This is the best season of the best show around. Excellent. 6 stars, at least. (if I could).
