I received this box set as a birthday gift from my son. had seen several episodes over the years but had missed an awful lot. We put off watching it for a couple of months as we figured there was a lot of viewing hours (and there was.)In October I had 2 weeks holiday and we were stopping at home my wife and i decided to start watching. We got hooked and watched the whole thing.I can't imagine anyone not liking this.The acting is supreme the storyline, rooted in a lot of factual occurrences in organized crime is fascinating and totally believable.Up there with The Godfather ,Goodfellas Etc. For anyone who likes Gangster Flix this is an absolute must. Buy you won,t be disappointed

Despite being a fan of mob movies, I never managed to catch The Sopranos when it was broadcast on TV (I'm always too busy to properly follow a TV station's schedule). Nonetheless, I heard it was a good show, so I took the plunge and purchased the complete box set.

Boy, am I glad I did!

The Sopranos is compulsive viewing. I watched all six seasons over the course of one month. Each episode is crammed with interesting characters, cutting dialogue and fantastic acting. And although classified as a TV drama, there is a lot of humour injected into each episode, so its not all downbeat and grim - you'll be laughing during scenes as well!

For fans of mob movies, The Sopranos is essential viewing. For casual fans, it still makes a great TV show. I know because my wife could care less for mob movies but even she would sit there watching episodes with me... Because its not just about the Mafia. Its about family and relationships as well.

the sopranos is by far the best tv viewing i have ever exsperienced, ive watched all 6 seasons proberley about 4 times now, and it doesent get boreing, it just has you hooked from start to finish and has you baying for more, i recommend everyone watch the whole series atleast once, trust me you will not be dissapointed, and the last ever episode was very clever writing from david chase the creator, he couldent of done it better in my opinion, this is a top class boxset, and at this price is a steal tony soprano would be proud of!!!.

I can not put into words how amazing this show is. I have watched alot of show's including lost , 24, heroes, prison break and while they are all great shows this one is a clear cut mile above anything i have ever seen before. I never watched it while it was being shown on tv and in a way i'm glad because it is much better to follow on dvd, no adverts and when you have seen one episode you can jump straight onto the next one, and when your watching pure class like this one episode is never enough. I'm extremely sad that this show has come to an end because it gripped me from episode one and it never let go. The acting is amazing the story lines are amazing the music i could go on. This may seem like alot of money to splash out on a dvd boxset but if you do, when you have watched the last episode you will know that it was worth every penny.

The Sopranos is by far the best tv show made, Every episode is entertaining and awesome to watch over and over again. All the characters are brilliant, storylines are incredible and the show is just "smart". Has a good bit of humour added along with all the stuff that comes with being in the mafia, all summed up into one amazing show. Great twists and turns, never know what characters can be trusted, and great action all mixed into one. For me there are a lot of really good shows out there, some are far fetched and some are very entertaining but not once in any Soprano episode do you know what's coming next and nothing far fetched ever occurs so The Sopranos is a master class and is in a league of its own by a clear cut mile. It will be sadly missed now thats its all came to an end but this boxset will let you relive every moment. Even if you've never watched an episode in your life, it's worth sitting down and watching because you will be amazed. 10 out of 10 is not enough. BUY IT.
