If you have never watched the Sopranos then YES the price for this box set it worth it. Amazing again and again!!!

I got the boxset for Christmas as I have never watched it on TV and i am a big fan of mob movies. wasn't too sure how they would make the TV series successfully based around the mob. I wasn't disappointed. it was shockingly brilliant.

the sopranos is the best TV series i have ever seen, every episode is like a film they are entertaining and addictive. James Gandolfini is great and suits the role, top performance from him. the supporting cast make it of the highest quality also.

this box set is worth every penny. it is the best TV series ever made.

Its a classic series, one of the best ever made. It shows the gritty parts of being a 'gangster' but also the day to day lives of the characters.

as the title says, it's simply brilliant. episode after episode, series after series, the quality, if anything, gets better!

Bought this box set for my husband's birthday and he was over the moon, he said it is the best present he has ever had, (he's Italian). The only thing is he can't stop watching it, even when I want to go out with him he makes excuses that he doesn't feel like going out, so I had to "make him an offer he couldn't refuse" it's the Sopranos or me, he chose the Sopranos!

HBO is now (quite rightly) regarded in high esteem when it comes to making television dramas and The Sopranos is certainly one of the shows that helped them cement that reputation.

The show follows the life of mob boss Tony Soprano as he tries to balance his business responsibilities with family life. Watching The Sopranos on DVD again it quickly dawned on me just how simplistic and uninteresting the majority of other TV shows are. Throughout the six seasons the show does a fantastic job of balancing out the lives and arcs of practically every major cast member and we are treated to one of the most complex character studies ever witnessed on screen. Add this to a fantastic cast that all play their roles to perfection and you have a program of rare quality.

Outstanding,amazing, awesome , put simply one if not the best TV show ever made , got the box set as a present and was hooked from the very first episode , you get so immersed in the "family" and feel that you live day to day with them , it is a must buy & you will watch it over and over again ,

ive loved the sopranos since it was first shown,if you like this sort of thing its superb!great characters,acting,writing etc.a must have for any fan and in my opinion the best tv series ever made!!
