A Darker Narnia Yet Still Amazing...

After watching the first film I was dying to see the second installment and it didn't disappoint.

After spending one year away from Narnia, the four siblings return having found that a thousand years have passed by in Narnian time. After adjusting to the darker and moodier Narnia, they are enthrusted straight back into battle to try and help Prince Caspian become King by overthrowing the vicious current ruler.

Yet more stunning visual effects are present and with the soundtrack and final fight for freedom here too, the second installment of the Narnia series is not one to be missed.

There's nothing particularly good or bad about PRINCE CASPIAN; it's an all-round average piece of movie-making. I'm not convinced this will keep the kids entertained, and many adults will find themselves staving off the occasional yawn. At least some attempts at humour have been injected into the script, although their success is decidedly patchy. There are also some pretty good set pieces. Not much else to say really, except that the mice are extraordinarily large and there's a dwarf who bears an uncanny resemblance to Martin Amis! Yet another film that fails to do the source material justice. It really only deserves 2.5 stars.

A Brilliant follow up to the first narnia movie.

Having seen the first film I was expecting more of the same when in fact its far better. If you intend to watch this I wont spoil it by giving away any details except it is darker and grittier than the first.GEORGIE HENLEY and SKANDER KEYNES are excellent and easily out act the other young leads in this film the battle scene at the end may be a bit too long for younger viewers but for older ones I feel that they will realise that considering the Narnian army is once again heavily outnumbered to give it any credability they have to stretch it out with some twist and turns to turn the tide in their favour and make it look like a proper battle .Overal I would say this is a must see film for narnia fans .

  A great film

I have watched this film and I must admit it was very good, the acting was too a very high standard and the film was enjoyable to watch. My only criticism is the fact that its a bit longwinded and a few scenes dont really need to be in the film and can slightly bore you when you watch it. However most of the film is up to a very high standard. The level of acting is very good and this really shows during the film. The special and visual affects used in this film are sublime, they are just utterly fantastic - its just mindblowing. The visual effects in this film really bring the whole thing to light. This is a very good film and one I reccomend everyone to watch.

After watching the first, I was not entirely convinced about watching this sequel. However I'm glad I gave it a go.

The Pevensie children return to Narnia after thousands of years to find it has changed dramatically. The Narnian's are forced to live in hiding whilst Narnia as a land comes under the rule of Minaz, the evil uncle of Prince Caspian who had his father killed and is determined to administer the same fate to Caspian himself. After his teacher and guide helps him escape and gives him the horn the Pevensie children possessed themselves all those years ago, Caspian calls to him the remaining hiding Narnian's and the children themselves to help him regain the throne of Narnia and restore peace once again.

Although I cannot say I enjoyed this movie as much as the first, I definitely cannot slate it. I found it quite sad at the end but not as moving as the first film. All in all I simply found it very enjoyable.

I read the Narnia tales when I was a kid and love the films just as much. Great entertainment and a wonderful story. The acting was superb. One for all the family.

Very entertaining. I did prefer the first but this film is still a good fun family film and the rat in it is very similar to puss in boots and luckily just as funny : ) Hopefully the narnia films continue to come as good as this!
