Some comedy, some drama, but most of all a look into life after WWII in Britain, when your neigbour was your friend and your community pulled together. Brittish communities seam to have moved in the opposite direction in the 21st century and this a fine look at the way we used to live with a great script and some great acting that carries something that most born before the 1980's can relate. It's a shame they only made three series from 1982 - 1984.

So pleased to have another round of fantastic episodes of Harvey Moon. The scripts are marvellous, the acting superb - a must see for all fans of a British sense of humour. Lee Whitard as Stanley looks and sounds like he was born in the era. If you weren't around in this period of history you will learn so much about ordinary families and their survival after WWII. Sit back and enjoy - roll on the next series, quickly I hope.
