What a fantastic boxset at a brilliant price. Robert Zemeckis struck gold teaming Micheal J.Fox's cool, skateboarding teenage rebel Marty Mcfly up with Christopher Lloyd's Mad Scientist Doctor Emmett Brown for the BTTF Trilogy. The first film is an 80s gem & one of the greatest ever made, well worth 5 stars. Part 2 is a worthy sequel esp. with the hoverboards in future 2015 (not so long now, which is scary), which I would give 4 stars. Part 3 set in the old Wild West is still worth seeing but nowhere near as good as the first 2, so I would give that probably 3 stars. There is great support from Lea Thompson & Cripsin Glover as Marty's parents & are brilliant (esp. in the first one). Special mention goes to Thomas F.Wilson as the bully / nemesis to the Mcfly's: Biff Buchanan. So as Huey Lewis (who incidentally has a bit part in the first film) sang to a great theme song: The Power of Love, is indeed a curious thing. Superb!!!
Simply the best

Does it even need a review? If your not a fan already, you have most probably seen parts of each on a Sunday afternoon on Channel 5 :).
The 1st is better than the rest by far I think. One of the only movies I can watch all the way though every time and still be entertained. Its a perfect, warm, charming, well acted and timeless masterpiece.
The 2nd and 3rd are perfect follow ups to the first and just as intriguing, although to me, the first stands out by far.
I just love the way Biff turns to Griff in the 2nd movie and how the whole series emphasis around the same plot. It's genious work by Spielberg/Zemeckis.
If your thinking about buying it then dont hold back. I was one of those who saw it on TV a few times but my girlfriend bought me it for Christmas about 4 years ago and its one of the best presents ive ever received.
As a kid growing up in the 80s, the first Back to the Future was one of the movies that defined my childhood. I remember seeing it in the cinema in '85 and then recording it on VHS and watching over & over again.
The pairing of Michael J. Fox & Christopher Lloyd was a stroke of genius, they play off each other superbly. These are the performances that I will always associate with them. Crispin Glover is perfectly cast and pulls off just the right level of quirkiness that he has become known for and Lea Thompson is simply adorable.
Despite it's impending 25th anniversary the movie still holds up so well. The effects are fantastic, the script is pin sharp and the plot is incredibly well-conceived.
Part II, builds fantastically on the intricate plot with some fantastic set-pieces and Part III ties things up nicely with a wonderful Wild West setting.
This is one of those timeless family movie trilogies that I can't wait to watch with the kids.
The Back to the Future Trilogy is undoubtedly one of the must fun and exciting trilogies ever! After it all you feel sad that its over and you just want more!!
BACK TO THE FUTURE 1: 5 Stars *****
An amazingly fun and exciting adventure that kicks off one hell of a trilogy. Very clever.
BACK TO THE FUTURE 2: 4 and a half Stars **** 1/2
Excellent, but not quite as good as the first.
BACK TO THE FUTURE 3: 5 Stars *****
A fitting end to the trilogy, and possibly my favorite because of the Wild West setting.
Christopher Lloyd is brilliant, and so is Michael J Fox (shame he didn't do much else due to his Parkinson's Disease)
9.6/10
Possibly the best films ever made!!! Classic!!

Absolute classics! Spielberg's best work! Fantastic imagination and beautifully produced. Each film is as good as the one before, be sure to look out for the small cleaver features put into each film eg the Eastwood revine sign at the end of part 3. These cleaver little touches show the care put into each film and it makes all the difference. Will anyone ever tire of these timeless classics?
Oh come on, I payed £30 for mine!, BUY IT NOW! gr8 Price!

Back To The Future - The first one was well worth the wait when it was finally released. I thought it was the best Si-Fi around at the time. Michael J Fox was excellent and Christopher Lloyd was the perfect foil.
Back To The Future II - Excellent as it was, it was repetitive with some of the lines. It was as if the script writer looked through the first film and repeated some of the script as if he thought that the film goer's would not notice the repeating theme.
Back To The Future III - As the second part of the trilogy was to the first; a bit of De Ja Vu??
The editor, director and the script writer should not assume that all film buffs are stupid. Although it was a Si-fi, and artistic licence and fantasy are welcome, imagination might have been the order of the day.
All-in-all it was a brilliant trilogy.
