Twenty-two years ago, Sam and Dean Winchester lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. As a result, their father, John, raised the brothers to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America...and he taught them how to kill it. Sam, however, wanted nothing to do with this violent and dangerous life, and he left it behind, until the day Dean appeared on his doorstep with troubling news. Their father had gone missing on a "hunting trip." Sam and Dean have spent the last year cruising the highways of the United States in their 1967 Chevy Impala, searching for their lost father and encountering creatures that most people believe exist only in folklore, superstition and nightmares. Along the way, they have battled the various supernatural threats--and each other as well, for their sibling rivalries and conflicts were never far from the surface. Finally, they found their father, just as he was closing in on the Demon who claimed their mother.

The Demon Busting duo are back to hunt the things that go bump in the night again!
In my opinion season 2 of Supernatural is the better of the first 3. And the brothers are back to hunt more supernatural creatures and even a clown! Creepy! Kim Manners is once again on top form with her episodes, And Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are great once again.
This truly is a great TV series and is definitely worth the money. If you do not watch Supernatural i recommend it to you now! Catch up!

It's good to see so many positive reviews of this show as they're all fully deserved. This is pure entertainment of the highest order. Excellent storylines, excellent lead performances from Padalecki and Ackles, who have a great chemistry between them, and, as mentioned elsewhere, an improvement on what was already a fine first series. Forget snotty, high-brow critiques of this show - this is a programme which takes a highly popular subject matter and creates an engaging and polished viewing experience. Think the classic Universal monster movies of the 30's and 40's with a hint of 60's/70's supernatural horror movies and a splash of 90's teen drama and you're just about there. Get the boxset (series 1 too if you haven't seen it yet), grab a big box of popcorn and prepare to be thoroughly entertained.
