Excellently made series about the darkness and slum-life that was Georgian London. Does surprisingly well to stay true to the historical record and provides suspense-filled entertainment all the way through. It also deserves credit for the way in which it keeps a level of objectivity - it doesn't force you to side with one group or the other but allows you to see the facts and make your own mind up as to who deserves the greater sympathy. The penultimate episode is easily the best and the only flaw is that some episodes can become a little dull for short periods. Still, if you missed it on T.V., very well worth a look.
