Really great performances and beautiful scenery with a real quirky edge make this a great film. £5....get it

Quirky comedy drama about three aquabbling brothers who are reunited on a 'spirtual' train journey across India. The trip has been organised by earnest control freak Owen Wilson, who wants them to bond by visiting all manner of the holy sites along the way. The other two are pretty cynical about the whole thing, and conspire to enjoy themselves despite Wilson's attempts to organize everything to the last second. Director Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums) is certainly back on form with this whimsical delight, which will have you chuckling away whist enjoying a colourful Indian travelogue.

Tender, clever, well acted, with a moving song; probably the best film I wached in 2008. Will order the DVD without delay.
