This is great comedy really funny its a must buy for the price.

Missed the first series so had to watch all 6 episodes together on DVD. It's just brilliant, my favourite character is Nessa ( reminds me of someone I know!) although Brydon is just a national treasure. Someone just has to make a feature film of this lot- it's hilarious and rude but it does have it's more poignant moments also. Don't let the 2nd series be the end of the story please!!

i wasnt sure at first on the series but it is funny, i laughed so hard just because of smithy "i know the answer it kriss akabusi" well worth a watch!

To be honest i think that this series has come up with some great characters such as bryn but as far as it goes as a series i think that gavin and stacey are both very annoying, although there are some very funny bits in it i thought it was not really worth the money i paid but for play.com's price i probally would have still bought it. this was a weird product to rate becuase im not a fan but i dont think its bad either it was a bit harsh giving it a 3/5 stars but i also didnt think it deserved 4/5 so i would give it a 3.5/5 dont really see why people rave about it so.

I won't lie to you, if you don't buy this, you're nuts...

This was brilliant, I caught part of the second series on television after hearing all the rave reviews. I thought I must buy the first series, and what a bargain. Its absolutely hillarious and very touching in parts. Ness is comedy genius.....what's occuring

I bought the series 1 boxset feeling like I was missing out on something; everyone is raving about this funny sitcom which has taken England by storm! I watched the first episode and had the odd chuckle but didn't really see what the fuss was about...until I felt an urge to watch another and so on. The jokes are the characters and like any series you need to get to know them. The two writers have the funniest lines (of course) followed by the parents and relatives. I didn't always find myself laughing uncontrolably, more a chuckle here and there, but this is what makes Gavin and Stacey stand out from all the rest - it's not stupid or toilet humour, it's clever and subtle making it a pleasant and very enjoyable change.

I really hope Series 3 gets the go ahead!
