have all of them on induvidual discs when they were first released on dvd by the bbc,as they released them by series numbers eg series 1,and now they are bringin out the complete dvd set,witch features the whole series,and if the bbc decide to release other comedies onto dvd,and the release them induvidualy,the best thing to do is to wait and find out if the bbc will then release them onto dvd box sets.

Does this set include the Christmas Specials? Or do we have to buy the other DVDs?

If I hadn't already purchased all the individual series as they came out, I would definitely buy this.
This is brittish comedy at it's best, no swearing just good clean humour that can be enjoyed by all the family.
The characters are all just fantastic from Captain George Mainwaring, to the silly Charles Godfrey, and the cocky Joe Walker, to name just 3.
Very well written by Jimmy Perry and David Croft, the best they ever did in my opinion.
Shame some of the earlier episodes have been lost, but the good old BBC have thrown in the audio episodes of the lost video's. So that's not too bad is it....
