Such a great film. Yeah it seems like your average run of the mill london gangster flik but the adaptation from real life events and gilbey's interpretation of the main characters is facinating. A great watch and a must have in your collection!

Top 10 DVD Reviewer
Having read the mixed reviews of this film, I watched it with an open mind. This film spans three decades of the under belly of England's gangsters, and ends in the massacre of three leading members being assassinated in a Range Rover on farm land in 1995. I rememeber this happening, and all the speculation of who carried out the killings. This is adapted from mob member Carlton Leach's book, and although may play fast and loose with the facts, it does make up for a very entertaing, very violent, very foul mouthed night viewing. This film is similar to 2000's Essex Boy's also based on this event, but Foot Soldiers is actually a better film.
This may not be regarded as a classic, but if your a fan of The Kray's and The Football Factory, this will be greatly enjoyed.
It's nasty, brutal, and very good!
