A Decent Film With Some Good Extras

I really enjoyed this at the cinema and enjoyed it again on DVD.

Just finished watching the extras on disc two. Thankfully none of the usual bland waffle, lots of behind the scenes docs but there wasn't as much stuff about the design and creation of the Transformers themselves.

The picture quality of the film is gorgeous. I'm sure those of you with a high def disc will be lording it over us mere mortals with our shoddy DVD images but the film looks stunning. The last 30 mins of the film are jaw-dropping, it's great to see every little piece of machinery clanking and moving on each character.

So overall, not a bad set of extras but it's the film that's gonna be the biggest draw.

And how cool is that bit when Ironhide leaps over that woman in slow motion and uses his cannons to propel himself?

 Michael Bay's best work yet!

This film is definitely one of the best movies released in 2007, and has fantastic special effects!
This movie has great cinematography, even if some scenes were recycled from his old movies. The music really brought the movie together and made for a much more intense viewing.
The only criticisms of the movie are that it is a little hard to follow the Transformers in fight scenes. And unless your a big fan you probably won't be able to keep up with who's good or bad.
All together this movie is a must buy and will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The humour in the film is admittedly American, but is still enjoyable for other viewers. This movie is definitely worth the money and does not disappoint.

 NOT JUST FOR KIDS

Going into the cinema, I was expecting a cheesy kids movie with decent acting and a fantastic, unrealistic plot. Needless to say the plot was indeed fantastic and unrealistic, but it was all kept in check with solid acting and the most incredible display of visual effects that I have EVER seen.

Most of the acting credits have to go to Shia LaBeouf, whom is quickly becoming a Hollywood star after recently giving an excellent performance in the thriller "Disturbia". It was another great performance from Shia in "Transformers", with his clever wit still ever present.

Spielberg and Bay have created a gigantic, spectacular and funny summer blockbuster movie.

This film, simply put is amazing!! It just wipes the floor with anything out this year, n i predict that the dvd's wel sell out quickly.

I meanit has it all, cool fx, hot chick, romance, humour, plot, drama, n the big bot himself optimus prime, whats not to like about it?

optimus is portrayed the way he should have been, he noble, wise, brave an is all about peace.

Alot of people like megatron, n bumble bee but for me there is nothing quite like optimus prime, love the ending.

If you havent seen the movie, in the cinema, then you MUST buy this dvd!!!

This is an amazing film from a visual point of view, other than that is crap,it's just another michael bay stinker,I mean the guy has nothing to bring to a film other than a massive budget for effects and stunts, the film should of been given to a director who has a bit of vison who can take on the the film from a new angle and take the auidence on a journey, plus look at the release date just in time for christmas, please don't give your money to filmmakers like this.
