i have been a fan of Transformers since it began and have quite a few of the toy's from specific serie's.
i've had the steelbook editon dvd for a while now, and seeming as it's one of my favourite movie's i thought i'd get a back up copy.
the CGI is phenomenal, and Peter Cullen is yet again the voice of the all mighty Optimus Prime, GOOD MOVE!!
i can't wait for Transformers: Revenge of the falllen to hit box office's mid summer- time next year.

After the disappointments of "Spider-Man 3" and "Pirates of the Carribean 3: At Worlds End", "Transformers" was the summer blockbuster that delievered a truly great specticle of a film.
Not since "Jurassic Park" have I been so in awe of a films special effects and scope. Michael Bay once again delivers a visual feast.
I liked the cast and they all hit the right notes. The real thrill though was Peter Cullen voicing Optimus Prime the leader of the autobots. Cullen originally voiced Prime in the 80's toon aswell.
The film also had a nice mix of comedy, action and the soundtrack was birlliantly epic even if it did steal some que's from other film scores such as "Batman Begins" and "Terminator 2".
Can't wait for the sequel. As long as they keep Bay directing this should be a hugely successfull franchise.
2007's Best Blockbuster!

This is the most awesomely action packed film i've seen in many a summer, orchestrated with expertise and delight by Michael Bay (who has finally made a film since The Rock that deserves to be praised). Everything is so expertly handled, character inroductions and motivations, the balance of action (the first ten minutes action could shame other whole films and that's only the start) and humour is well judged, the effects are gobsmackingly real and the sense of awe as the Transformers arrive on Earth is wonderful! the final half hour is one giant destruction derby and you will wonder how the heck all of it looks so REAL! The CGI is so well done. But by now most of you will have seen this and already have it, but if you've not then check it out before the sequel comes along next year!
