Saw 4 (IV): Extreme Edition

Awful. The Saw Franchise (Which to be honest shouldn't have been a franchise) has tortured its last victim. The first Saw was an incredible thriller and while the 2nd one was enjoyable it remained Pale in comparison to the first...And they just keep on goin and goin. I'm even annoyed I bought the 3rd. Stop sequelising everything or remaking good films and start to make something more orginal I don't know like the first Saw. Please don't waste your money.

"Saw 4" is the weakest film of the saw films. It is frustratingly pointless and just an excuse for the studio behind this film to make money. The story and screenplay are overly complicated and compared to the promising previous films this one feels empty and pointless. Bad directing, absolutely awful acting doesn't really help. Please don't make any more Saw films on this effort- absolute rubbish. "Saw's" 1-3 at least had some fairly clever plot twists with the first "Saw" the best by a considerable amount but now like "Hostel Part 2" the novelty has worn off.

This film is no dobt, AMAZING.
if you like hostel (which is half as good) you'll love this.
The first 3 SAW films were basically showing what jigsaw does. The forth is really WHY he does it what made him do this? and the story becomes ever more clear definatly watch the other before this otherwise you will not fully apprieciete this film. SAW 4 is far more confusing as they are really just showing you the behind the scenes of saw 3 along with another story alongside. congratulations to the film crew the pace and camera angles editing music and everything seamless flowing just perfect like i've never seen in any other film. the SAW series really is the best i've ever come across and i can really connect with the characters. if you haven't seen any of the saw films buy the quadrilogy because you might spoil the series if you watch this first as it's very confusing!

But The Games Have just begun...

This is the 4th installment of the Saw films. So mind numblingly twisting. Its Great how the writers have managed to write a good plot & maintain its SAW quality. I agree with a down review of ending on a high, I agree slightly but with there being 2 more films to come yet with the same writers...

I personally think SAW fans are not going to be disappointed!! SAW 4 is a must have for any movie fanatic like myself. Great Plot, Great Actors, All Around Great Movie....

(This film is not for the feint hearted)

The first one was excellent.
Second one was excellent.
Third one was good.
But they should've just left it there.
This movie doesn't really compare much to the other 3.
Bit confusing and is all quite pointless til the last 10/15 minutes.
