great peter falk playing columbo what more could you whant. the thing that bothers me they wont be making any more.

I am deaf and can anyone who have bought this Columbo: Seasons 1-7 (23 Discs), do all of these episodes have subtitles for deaf viewers?

I would be grateful if u would post the review to let me know.

The Columbo episodes are brilliant with his great acting. There must be few films at least I missed. so i hope this complete seasons will help me to catch up all the films.

I am sure there will be more seasons coming out as i know many episodes that are newer than these ones in the complete set. The newer episodes include: Rest in Peace, Mrs.Columbo, Murder in Malibu, Smoking can be hazardous to your Heath, Murder hit the jackpot, Birds in the Hand, blah blah up to the year 2003.

Rumours had it that there will be one more new Columbo coming out later this year and it will be the FINAL episode.

I am sure all the Columbo fans want to hear more updated.

I love Columbo, so I was thrilled to get this boxset (after a long wait) with the complete seasons 1-7. I had previously owned the complete seasons 1-4 boxset, which has several of the great episodes.

When I sat down for my marathon watch I was slightly disappointed with season five, as I found a couple of the episodes not up to scratch. However the rest restored my faith and were great. In seasons 6 and 7 Columbo is once again on top form. I think the makers have tried to make the murder mysteries much more intricate in the later seasons, which is refreshing. There are also a lot more likeable murders which add to the plot.

I did notice that more than on occasions actors from previous series and episodes have made a reappearance and rather than detracting from the current episode, I find this quite fun (if only to serve as a memory exercise of which episode you last saw them in). However the characters they play seem almost always to be type cast, so for some this might seem a bit boring. In series 6 Jamie-Lee Curtis has a very small role as a waitress, so if you look closely there are some bigger/modern stars to find.

I also really like the bonus Mrs. Columbo episodes that are included in this boxset - they are nowhere near as good as Columbo, but they are novel and worth a watch at least once.

I would whole-heartedly recommend this boxset, and like many Columbo fans I am waiting for when the complete boxset will available with all of the Columbo's every made.

Went looking to buy some of the season box sets for my husband for Christmas and was thrilled to purchase this on a pre-release, I couldn't believe seven sets in one for this price, I was thrilled pocket wise and he was thrilled Columbo wise, Excellent value for any Columbo fan
Can't wait to see if they bring out the later 80's seasons in a box set

i think this is great because if you bought them one by one it would cost at least 200 pound extra so by buying this box you save 200 pound
